Position Overview
The Optician will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, building lasting relationships with patients—many of whom have trusted our practice for years—while assisting with eyewear selection and supporting clinical operations through advanced EMR systems and in-office laboratory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs
- Perform precise measurements and fittings to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
- Utilize EMR systems accurately and efficiently
- Support and coordinate with clinical staff and providers
- Handle basic laboratory work and adjustments as needed
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Optician required
- Knowledge of eyewear, lenses, and optical measurements
- Comfortable working with EMR systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and team-focused
