In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, managing, and maintaining construction-related data across various digital platforms. Your work will support project teams by ensuring that all information is precise, organized, and readily accessible. Responsibilities
- Enter construction project data into financial accounting software and construction industry software (JobTread) systems with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain and update records related to project schedules, materials, labor hours, and equipment usage.
- Organize and file digital and physical documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in data collection efforts by gathering information from the superintendent's site reports, blueprints, and subcontractors.
- Use office software such as Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, perform basic math calculations, and generate reports.
- Support order entry processes for materials and supplies needed on construction sites
- Perform clerical tasks, including typing reports, transcribing notes, and managing filing systems to streamline workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative support in a construction or office environment
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, accounting and financial systems, and office productivity tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Accurate typing skills with a keen eye for detail to minimize errors in data input
- Basic math skills for calculations related to quantities, costs, or measurements
- Experience with data collection methods such as transcription or manual entry from reports or blueprints
- Familiarity with filing systems—both digital and physical—and maintaining organized records
