Duties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patients' needs, including those in orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and home health settings
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations focusing on physiology, anatomy, and medical history to inform effective therapy strategies
- Manage patient rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function and mobility through therapeutic exercises, trigger point therapy, and other modalities
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to healthcare standards for electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, home exercise programs, and community resources to support ongoing recovery
- Monitor progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or home health environments
Qualifications
- Active Florida Physical Therapist License (or license eligible)
- DPT Degree
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
