ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong understanding of the automotive or automotive aftermarket industry to lead the delivery of strategic projects and programs across the business. Working closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving projects from initiation through to successful completion.
This role requires a strong leader who can manage complex timelines, risks, dependencies, and resources while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives. You will play a key role in fostering collaboration, driving accountability, and providing clear project governance and communication to stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership
- Lead the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and programs from initiation through implementation and handover.
- Establish, define, and maintain project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success measures, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Develop and drive integrated project plans, coordinating timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple workstreams.
- Own overall project delivery, ensuring commitments are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Drive proactive decision-making, issue resolution, and risk mitigation to maintain project momentum and delivery outcomes.
Engineering Delivery Management
- Partner closely with Engineering leadership and technical teams to translate project objectives into deliverable work plans.
- Maintain visibility of engineering activities, dependencies, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution.
- Hold teams accountable for agreed milestones, deliverables, and timelines, escalating risks and blockers where necessary.
- Facilitate alignment between engineering, operations, commercial, and leadership stakeholders to ensure delivery objectives are achieved.
- Challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and drive actions that keep projects on track.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Lead relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and delivery partners to ensure project requirements and commitments are met.
- Manage supplier performance, deliverables, timelines, risks, and escalations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate supplier activities with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and effective communication.
- Drive accountability with suppliers and partners, ensuring contractual obligations, quality expectations, and delivery milestones are achieved.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors and senior stakeholders.
- Influence decision-making through clear communication, data-driven insights, and practical recommendations.
- Lead project governance forums, steering committees, and status reviews.
- Provide accurate, timely reporting on project health, scope, schedule, costs, risks, and dependencies.
- Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization to facilitate successful delivery.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading complex projects and programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to define project scope, build integrated delivery plans, and successfully execute against challenging timelines.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and driving engineering or technical teams to achieve project objectives.
- Strong supplier and vendor management experience, including performance management, escalation handling, and delivery oversight.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge at all organizational levels.
- Strong commercial, operational, and business acumen.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing demands, and complex dependencies.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting platforms, including Wrike.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through effective project and program leadership.
Due to the global nature of this role, candidates must be comfortable working with international teams and be available for occasional meetings outside of regular business hours.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
