POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Carpenter

We are a growing commercial painting and carpentry contractor looking for a motivated Carpenter who wants more than just a job. Responsibilities
- Lead a small crew on commercial construction projects.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Perform quality commercial carpentry work while maintaining high safety standards.
- Communicate with project managers regarding job progress and material needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and meets company quality standards.
Commercial Carpentry Experience Preferred
Experience with some or all of the following is preferred:
- Metal stud framing
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Acoustical/drop ceilings
- Door, frame, and hardware installation
- Finish carpentry
- Millwork and trim installation
- Bathroom partitions and accessories
- Demolition
- Commercial renovations and tenant fit-outs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and layout work.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders and lifts.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
