Job Description:
Fastest Labs is looking for a DOT Certified Medical Examiner to join our team on an on-call basis. This position is ideal for a licensed healthcare provider seeking flexible hours while helping commercial drivers meet FMCSA medical certification requirements.
The provider will perform DOT Physical Examinations as needed based on clinic demand..
Responsibilities:
- Perform FMCSA DOT Physical Examinations.
- Determine driver medical qualification according to FMCSA guidelines.
- Complete all required NRCME documentation and Medical Examiner Certificates.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a professional environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida license as one of the following:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Medical Doctor (MD)
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Chiropractor (DC)
- Current certification on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable and professional demeanor.
- Active Florida license as one of the following:
Preferred
- Previous experience performing DOT Physical Exams.
