Burnham Law is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to the firm's Owner and Firm Manager.
This position will provide high-level administrative, operational, and financial support to firm leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing business documents, supporting financial processes, and handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
This role requires exceptional organization, sound judgment, strong financial acumen, and the ability to anticipate leadership's needs. Regular travel between the firm's Colorado offices will be required, with occasional travel to other locations based on business needs.

We are open to placing the right candidate in the office that best aligns with the candidate's location and the firm's operational needs.

Manage complex calendars, schedules, and appointments, and competing priorities for the Owner and Firm Manager.

Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, and performing basic bookkeeping work.

Coordinate internal and external meetings and events, including scheduling, agendas, materials, logistics, and follow-up items.

Monitor deadlines and executive requests to ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.

Prepare professional correspondence, presentations, reports, meeting materials, and other business documents.

Coordinate domestic travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries, and travel logistics

Serve as a primary point of contact between firm leadership, attorneys, employees, clients, vendors, and external partners.

Anticipate leadership needs and proactively address scheduling, administrative, and operational issues.

Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.

Handle confidential, financial, personnel, and business information with discretion.

Assist with financial tasks, including expense reports, budgeting support, invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support operational initiatives and special projects assigned by the Owner or Firm Manager.

Assist other departments with administrative or operational needs when appropriate.

Minimum of 3 years of Executive Administrative Assistant or comparable experience supporting senior leadership.
- Strong financial background with experience supporting budgeting, expense management, invoicing, reconciliations, or financial reporting.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with accounting software, expense management platforms, or legal software is preferred.

This position may be performed remotely (within the state of Colorado), in a hybrid arrangement, or on-site, depending on the needs of the firm and leadership. The role offers flexibility; however, during the first 90 days of employment, the Executive Assistant is expected to be in the office as much as possible for onboarding, training, and team integration. The typical workday is Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.
