Packaging Specialist - 2nd shift
Solon, OH | Full-Time | M-Th 1:30pm – 12:00am 4 10's and OT as needed $16–$18/hour (based on experience)
Join Our Team as a Packaging Specialist!
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to prepare outbound materials for shipment and support our production team. In this role, you'll handle materials, assist with production setup, and help keep our packaging and staging areas running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Package, handle, and protect finished and raw materials
- Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving
- Assist operators with production setup and machine operation
- Stage materials for upcoming orders and return raw materials to proper locations
- Accurately complete work order paperwork
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a production facility
- Tow motor driving experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure, specifications, and basic measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, scale)
- Basic math skills
- Ability to adapt to different production tasks
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift certification and computer skills a plus
- Regular and punctual attendance
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Occasional lifting over 100 lbs (with assist)
- Use of required PPE and adherence to safety procedures
- Comfort working in areas with extreme temperatures or noise
