Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road.
- Manage logistics cargo handling tasks including freight documentation, load securing, and ensuring compliance.
- Deliver freight accurately and professionally while maintaining excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
- Maintain detailed records of driving hours, delivery logs, inspection reports, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
Skills
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules,and safety standards for transporting goods.
- Skilled in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
