Job description
We are seeking a dependable, hard-working individual for a Field technician position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a small, team-oriented company. You will play a key role in daily field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dig and prepare soil for testing
- Perform soil testing to determine suitability for septic tank installation
- Assist with soil mapping and documentation
- Carry equipment from trucks to testing locations
- Operate tools and maintain equipment
- Possibly drive company vehicle to job sites
- Support the owner and team with field and site tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and be trained in soil testing procedures
- Previous soil testing or related field experience preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Able and willing to perform physically demanding, hands-on work
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Work Environment:
- 90% of work performed outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically active role requiring lifting, digging, and extended time outside
Pay: $17.00 per hour
