Although our manufacturing headquarters is based in Danbury, Connecticut, we are a global company with clients and team members in over 18 countries worldwide, including an expansive field service team comprised of over eight-hundred specialized field service technicians.
On-Site technicians keep electromechanical equipment running for corporate clients. They are the front line of customer service and client relationship as well. On-Site technicians perform preventative maintenance and repair large high volume mailing systems.
- Proactively schedule and perform preventative maintenance
- Trouble-shoot customer reported problems.
- Proactively monitor, schedule, and prioritize tasks to maximize customer satisfaction
- Plan and perform equipment upgrades and new installations
- Manage a queue of calls to ensure that customers are contacted within the established guidelines, and that incidents are closed in a quality manner within the established guidelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment.
- Strong experience working on electro-mechanical equipment
- A minimum of two years proven experience in building and enhancing Customer relationships.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must maintain reliable transportation to travel to and from customer locations
- The ability to perform frequent lifting and/or moving items up to 50lbs. Are you able and willing to do this with or without accommodation?
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts as needed with minimal notice

- This role requires three separate (company-paid) five-day training courses over your first six months of work. We send you to Danbury, CT on the company dime for 5 days at a time for training (3 separate times) at our Headquarters. Is this acceptable?
- This is a Second Shift role, 2 PM to 10. This shift pays 10% extra which would bring the minimum pay rate to at least $30.80/hour. Is that acceptable?
