JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Armed Executive Protection Drivers to join our protective operations team.
As a key member, you will provide safe, discreet, and professional transportation while supporting the overall security and protection of our clients.
This position requires exceptional driving skills, sound judgment, situational awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Standard assignments typically involve 12-hour shifts, with overtime, travel, and schedule adjustments as operationally required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide safe, professional, and discreet transportation for executives and other designated clients.
- Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, fueled, secure, and mission-ready condition.
- Conduct route planning and movement preparation before assignments.
- Maintain continuous situational awareness during vehicle movements, arrivals, departures, and other protective operations.
- Coordinate effectively with Executive Protection Agents and other authorized personnel.
- Support secure arrivals and departures as operationally required.
- Maintain professional communications and strict operational security.
- Protect confidential client, company, itinerary, location, and operational information.
- Complete required operational documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain all required licenses, permits, certifications, and qualifications throughout the assignment.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must meet all mandatory requirements at the time of application:
- United States citizen
- Currently reside in Northern Virginia
- Active and valid U.S. passport
- Current Virginia DCJS armed security certification
- Current Maryland Wear and Carry Permit
- Current Washington, D.C. concealed carry authorization
- Current advanced handgun/pistol qualification
- Current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification through the American Red Cross or a nationally recognized equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record
- Legally eligible to perform armed duties in all required jurisdictions
- Able to successfully complete background, driving-record, and client screening requirements
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, reliability, sound judgment, and OPSEC discipline
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior U.S. military service
- Special operations or special forces experience
- Current or former law enforcement experience
- Executive protection experience
- Protective or defensive driving training
- Applicant MUST live within 15 minutes drive to Reston VA. No exceptions . No lodging provided
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in an armed force protection role preferably with experience driving in high threat environments.
- Proven experience in high threat protection.
- Strong knowledge of DMV metro area.
**Skills:**
- Multiple language skills preferred.
- Conflict management skills to effectively resolve security-related incidents.
- Proficiency in surveillance/ counter surveillance operations .
- Experience in Federal law enforcement or a military environment.
- Strong physical fitness level.
- Porficient in tactical self defense/ martial arts.
SCHEDULE:
Approximately two weeks of active assignments per month, scheduled in one or more work periods according to operational requirements. Extended duty periods, schedule changes, and travel may be required.
COMPENSATION:
$375–$400 per scheduled workday, based on qualifications and experience.
OPERATIONAL SECURITY:
Due to the sensitive nature of executive protection operations, specific client identities, schedules, locations, and assignment details will only be disclosed to qualified candidates as appropriate during the screening and onboarding process.
