Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to meet health regulations
- Support team members by bussing tables, resetting stations, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Demonstrate knowledge of fine dining etiquette and contribute to a polished guest experience
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills for guest relations and teamwork
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as needed in a lively hospitality setting
