Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Liaise with commodities, logistics and procurement on allocation availability.
- Provide inventory status and count.
- Provide QA Visibility and reports on inbound / outbound shipments
- Develop and utilize electronic tools to monitor suppliers key performance indicators.
- Provide escalation on potential changes in inventory level, product quality or variables that may affect order fill / service.
- Champion product quality and the mitigation of rejections.
- Ensure vendor site meets food safety standards and is audit-ready
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance throughput and efficiency
- Collaborate with production to minimize disruptions and maintain schedule adherence
- Communicate with Commodity Planning through forecasting, communicating discrepancies, deviations from the budget / forecast related to inbound volume.
- Responsible for ensuring all training and SOPs are completed within the department
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Post Secondary education in business or engineering (diploma or degree) is considered an asset
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience and responsibility in Operations / Supervision.
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory role is required
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and experience with tight timelines, operating in a JIT environment.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule work effectively with a production team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite
- Knowledgeable of Texas Occupational Health and Safety Act (TXOHSA) regulations
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
