Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. Duties
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment based on customer requests.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Ensure that all products are handled properly to avoid damage during the picking process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
