Job Description
Basic Function:
The basic function of the HVAC Technician is to help with the timely and proper completion of service calls/ installation projects. Technician is responsible for HVAC equipment assigned to him and for various other assigned tasks which should all be completed using high quality standards .Tech is responsible for representing the company in a manner that promotes good relations.
Essential Duties:
- Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on HVAC units
- Efficiently handle basic paperwork, primarily utilizing mobile devices for seamless documentation.
- Demonstrate responsibility toward efficient time management of jobs.
- Assist on job sites with other technicians as needed.
- Respond to calls in a timely manner.
- Understanding of Service Titan a huge plus.
- Be neat and clean at all times and keep vehicles and equipment the same.
- Attend training classes and seminars to keep expertise current and up to date.
- Adhere to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work orders).
- Maintain company tools in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
Five years experience in residential or commercial
Must be drug free and have a clean driving record.
EPA Certification is a plus.
Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing HVAC units, particularly 2-5 ton systems
Good hygiene and cleanliness is required.
Follow rules and regulations as described in the company handbook.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and personable demeanor.
Pay:
$35.00-$40.00/Hour
