Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Agilysys POS system , ensuring timely delivery
- Serve breakfast items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service to foster guest loyalty
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions and process payments using POS systems
- Clear tables promptly, bus dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events like brunch or nightclub mornings
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or breakfast settings
- Familiarity with Agilysys POS systems is highly advantageous
- Experience in guest services, host/hostess roles, or food handling enhances your ability to excel in this position
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently using OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential
- Food Handlers and RBS Training Certification required
