The Cultivation Lead performs cannabis plant care in all stages of its life cycle. This position is considered a department expert, is cross trained and responsible for rotating between all functional areas, maintaining compliance, and supporting leadership with training responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties

Self-directed, anticipate instructions given by manager, and set the pace to support production goals and shifts in production demands

Lead team in completing daily tasks and assignments within the established time frames and specifications

Demonstrate understanding of production goals and initiates team effort in meeting needs; provides course correction, when necessary, stock workstations with the necessary supplies and materials
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the established timeframes and specifications.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a computerized system

Complete required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and state electronic recordkeeping systems to maintain compliance

Perform regular cycle counts, internal audits, and reconciliation processes

Maintain accurate inventories, manifests, documentation, and reports

Maintain accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches

Complete proper equipment maintenance and upkeep

Support management with training and development for team members

Ensure compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations

Ensure the work area is kept in clean and safe condition
- Champions a safe work environment by modeling safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age

High school diploma or GED required
-
1-3 years of cultivation experience required
-
1 year experience in a leadership role preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required

Experience with inventory management, quality control, and recordkeeping preferred

Manual dexterity is needed for manipulating hand tools

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8+ hours)

Frequent standing, climbing stairs, crouching, handling, kneeling, pinching, pulling (horizontal and vertical), lifting (waist to shoulder), reaching (waist to shoulder and above shoulder), and reading.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.86
Insa is a multi-state employer, and this is the company-wide pay range. Offers will be provided in accordance with state-specific minimum wage guidelines.
