We are looking for an enthusiastic team member looking to be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing business and industry.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Sales Associate to join our premier team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive multitasker with exceptional communication skills and proficiency in sales operations and client management.
Role Summary
The Sales Associate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing B2B wholesale sales opportunities and building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers in the Illinois cannabis market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution: Floating throughout Illinois, lend support to the sales team by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities with established retailers. Present and promote company products to potential and existing accounts. Support the closing of new accounts.
Field Marketing Support: Conduct retailer product trainings and lend support to in-channel brand activations and marketing initiatives including local and regional cannabis events and tradeshows.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers to ensure product satisfaction and sales retention
Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Understand and communicate the benefits and features of our product line to retailers.
Sales Process Optimization: Utilize wholesale processes to track sales activities and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales experience in the cannabis industry
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, presentation, and people skills.
- Experience with sales strategy, partnership building, and sales quotas.
- Commitment to sound business practices, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Proficient in sales tracking processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
- Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
