Responsibilities
-
Perform reactive and preventative housekeeping and custodial duties at assigned facilities.
-
Perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and other tasks as regularly needed or requested.

Clean restrooms, sinks, and other publicly used spaces.
-
Assist in performing other custodial tasks necessary for upkeep of Beck’s buildings and grounds.
-
Perform other related duties as required by the Facilities Department.
Job Requirements

2. Technical knowledge:

Competency and experience in housekeeping, custodial, or related field.

Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work with a team, and proceed with objectives with or without supervision.

For Hire driver’s license or equivalent required (may be acquired at later date).

Have excellent people skills.
-
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
3. Experience:
-
Two (2) years’ experience in the housekeeping or custodial fields
4. Physical Demands:
-
Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate may be required.

Be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
-
Capable of working off scissor lift, boom lift, or at comparable heights.
5. Travel and Hours of Work:
-
Hours of work will generally be Monday – Friday and will include some Saturday and after hours as needed and events arise.
-
Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s Regional Locations and may vary in duration of time.
6. Education and Training:
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
