About the Cupcake Decorator Position
This job contributes to Trophy Cupcakes success by giving you the opportunity to be the artist behind the masterpiece. With creativity, precision, and attention to detail, your work helps create joy, connection, and celebration for our customers every single day.
Our decorators are talented, fast-paced, detail-oriented artists who thrive in a collaborative bakery environment. This role is ideal for someone who already has decorating experience and is excited to continue growing their craft in a high-volume, creative production setting.
We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation in decorating techniques including frosting cupcakes, piping, finishing work, and creating consistently beautiful products. The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Bakery Manager, Decorators will have the following responsibilities:

Consistently deliver the Trophy Experience by maintaining the high quality and presentation standards of our desserts daily

Display knowledge of frosting cupcakes, piping techniques, mixing frostings, and following recipes

Execute cupcake decorating with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail

Effectively communicate with the team on daily production goals and priorities

Utilize strong organization, preparation, cleanliness, and FIFO practices in all kitchen spaces

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment that upholds the mission and values of Trophy Cupcakes

Collaborate with Bakery Management on daily operations, inventory pars, and process improvement

Communicate proactively with department leads to problem solve and streamline operations concerning quality and efficiency
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
1 2 years of decorating experience preferred
-
Strong piping and finishing skills required
-
Additional baking or pastry experience welcomed

Washington State Food Handler Permit
