Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver exceptional food experiences
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Handle food products safely, including proper storage, handling, and disposal
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen workflow
- Willing to wash dishes.
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential
- Experience in fine dining environments is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and presentation
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures is required
