We are currently looking for a committed and proficient Wastewater Machine Operator to support our facility located in Richmond, VA, 23231. This position is vital to the seamless functioning of our treatment plant, making it an ideal fit for someone who values environmental stewardship and thrives in a hands-on, mechanical environment.
Core Duties-
Manage and oversee the daily function of wastewater treatment systems and related hardware.

Conduct regular upkeep and diagnostic checks on equipment to help maintain peak operational efficiency.

Gather and evaluate water specimens to verify that quality standards and legal requirements are met.

Keep precise logs regarding facility activities, service history, and regulatory documentation.

Support the onboarding of incoming personnel by providing instruction on machinery usage and safety standards.

Work alongside colleagues to pinpoint and execute enhancements to existing workflows.

Address system alerts and urgent situations with speed and precision to ensure a safe environment.
Required Background-
Completion of secondary education or an equivalent credential, with specialized wastewater training being a plus.

Prior background in machine operation, ideally within an industrial or wastewater treatment context.
