Overview
As we come into summer, Finca is looking to add bartenders to their established service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-paced environments with high standards of service execution. They would additionally have a passion of delivering exceptional dining experiences via service touches and with food and beverage knowledge with a special consideration towards wine.
Responsibilities
- Take guest orders and provide guidance on selections and coursing
- Maintain all steps of service and deliver strong pacing for a curated dining experience
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Build relationships with existing and new clientele
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent guest service
- Maintain running side work throughout each shift
- Handle bar prep and production
Qualifications
- Previous experience in high volume, upscale restaurants
- Strong base knowledge in coursing food
- Strong base knowledge in wine and beverage
- Strong history of high volume bar production and execution
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, including having a current San Diego Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service Certification
- Strong guest service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
