Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OTR (Over-the-Road) Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to handle various types of trucks and trailers.
Duties
- Operate a 26ft box truck with a liftgate
- Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Have to have a clean driving record with zero tickets over the last 5 years
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage freight loading and unloading, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with 1 year+ experience
- Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
- Ability to operate pallet jack.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations.
- Most importantly have to be on time and be able to do late night pick ups

Pay: $125.00 - $170.00 per day
