Scheduling Coordinator — Overview Roofing
Overview Roofing is hiring a Scheduling Coordinator to join our outreach team. This is a field-based role focused on connecting with homeowners in our service area and getting free roof inspections on the calendar for our inspection team.
The Vibe
We're a relaxed, results-only company. We don't care if you work one hour a day or ten. We don't care if you take Tuesdays off, knock in the morning, or wait until after lunch to get going. If you hit your numbers, you run your own schedule — period. If you're a producer, you've got the freedom to do this job your way. We're not interested in micromanaging adults. We're interested in results.
What You'll Do
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll spend time in assigned neighborhoods, going door-to-door to introduce homeowners to Overview Roofing and schedule complimentary roof inspections. You're the first face of the company — the person who builds initial trust, has a genuine conversation about the condition of a homeowner's roof, and books the appointment that gets the process started.
The work itself:
- Knock doors in assigned neighborhoods and start friendly conversations with homeowners
- Introduce Overview Roofing and explain our free, no-obligation roof inspection
- Listen to homeowners, answer basic questions, and handle common concerns without being pushy
- Book inspection appointments directly on the team calendar
- Collect and accurately log complete homeowner information (name, address, phone, insurance carrier, scheduled time)
- Track every door worked in our CRM, including no-answers and not-interesteds
- Follow neighborhood etiquette, all no-soliciting rules, and local ordinances
- Quick weekly check-in with the team lead to keep you growing
What This Role Is Not
You are not a salesperson. You're not quoting prices, climbing roofs, or pressuring anyone into anything. You're a friendly, professional first point of contact whose job is to schedule the inspection — our inspectors and sales team handle everything from there.
Training
You'll spend your first three days in the field with our team lead, learning the conversation framework, how to handle common objections, and how to qualify a homeowner properly. After that, you're on your own territory, running your own day, with a weekly one-on-one to keep you sharp.
Who Thrives Here
This setup is a dream for the right person and a nightmare for the wrong one. We're looking for self-starters — people who don't need someone standing over them to get the work done. If you're motivated, can manage your own time, and like being measured on your performance instead of how many hours you sat in a chair, you'll love it here. If you need constant structure and supervision, this probably isn't the right fit.
What you'll need:
- A warm, conversational personality — you genuinely enjoy talking to people
- Self-discipline to manage your own schedule without anyone pushing you
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Smartphone or tablet for logging leads in our CRM
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- No prior roofing or sales experience required — we'll train you on everything
Compensation
100% commission with uncapped earning potential. You're paid per booked inspection, plus a percentage of the commission when one of your appointments turns into an actual job. That means when you set quality appointments that close, you get paid twice — once for the booking and again when the roof gets sold. The harder and smarter you work, the more you make. There's no ceiling. Producers do very well here.
What We Offer
- Uncapped commission with a clear payout structure
- Total schedule flexibility — work when you want, as long as you're hitting your numbers
- Branded company gear
- A real growth path — strong Scheduling Coordinators move up into senior roles or onto the sales team
- A laid-back team that treats you like an adult and gets out of your way
