Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Psych ARNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive psychiatric care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support patients across various settings. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive the highest quality mental health services in a respectful and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and physiological evaluations.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.
- Administer injections such as botulinum toxin treatments and manage medication administration protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Utilize EMR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and patient record management.
- Engage in patient education regarding treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and wellness.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Psychiatric ARNP with current licensure in the relevant state.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, geriatrics, or behavioral health populations in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or assisted living facilities.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology, including CPT coding and ICD coding for diagnoses.
- Critical care experience or hospital medicine background is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with procedures such as venipuncture, sterile processing, and basic life support certification.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Experience working within collaborative practice agreements and knowledge of Workers' Compensation law is advantageous.

Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
