We're Hiring: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) — Full-Time, Fully Remote
Feeling Good Psychotherapy (FGP)
Feeling Good Psychotherapy is growing, and we're looking for a dedicated, motivated LMSW to join our team full-time (35 hours/week), fully remote. If you're serious about building a career in private practice and want to be trained by experts in one of the most effective, research-backed therapy models available, we'd love to hear from you.
Why FGP?
We're not just another group practice. FGP is built around TEAM-CBT, the innovative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach developed by David Burns, MD — Stanford professor and bestselling author of Feeling Good, one of the most widely read psychotherapy books of all time. Clinicians who train with us don't just learn a modality; they join a community devoted to rigorous, compassionate, results-driven care.
Here's what sets us apart:
- Real investment in your growth. You'll receive free, extensive onsite training in TEAM-CBT, with the opportunity to earn certification — a credential that distinguishes you in the field and deepens your clinical skill set for the rest of your career.
- Weekly individual supervision with certified TEAM-CBT clinical supervisors, not just a generic check-in, but focused mentorship to help you grow as a clinician.
- A true clinical community. Weekly group training and consultation (Wednesday mornings) means you're never practicing in isolation — you're learning alongside colleagues who care about doing this work well.
- You focus on therapy, we handle the rest. Our administrative team manages scheduling, billing, and non-clinical tasks, so your energy goes where it matters most: your clients.
- Stability and full benefits, even in a field where so many roles are 1099 or fee-for-service only.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Holds a current New York State LMSW license
- Has some experience in a clinic, agency, or private practice setting — recent graduates and second-career professionals are warmly encouraged to apply
- Has training or strong interest in CBT and/or DBT, and is motivated to develop expertise in the TEAM-CBT framework
- Is serious about building a long-term career in private practice
- Stays current with clinical research and is eager to keep growing as a practitioner
- Can attend weekly group training and consultation (Wednesday mornings)
What We Offer
- $80,000 annual salary (35 hours/week)
- Full health benefits — Medical, Dental, Vision, and Long-Term Disability
- Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Leave
- Weekly individual supervision with certified TEAM-CBT clinical supervisors
- Free, extensive TEAM-CBT training with certification opportunity
- Full administrative support — scheduling, billing, and non-clinical tasks handled for you
- A collaborative, dynamic team where your professional development is genuinely prioritized
