We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead our construction payroll operations with precision and enthusiasm. <Responsibilities>
- Manage end-to-end construction payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all employee payments
- Oversee data entry, account reconciliation, and journal entries related to payroll transactions within accounting software Acumatica.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations by preparing and submitting necessary filings
- Administer benefits programs, including deductions, retirement contributions, and health insurance enrollments
- Collaborate with HRIS systems to update employee records and ensure seamless integration of payroll data with human resources functions
- Conduct regular analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and improve processes
- Prepare detailed reports on payroll expenses, tax liabilities, and other financial metrics for management review
- Support governmental reporting requirements as applicable
<Qualifications>
- Proven experience managing construction payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction payroll management principles combined with a solid understanding of corporate accounting practices and financial concepts
- Proficiency in construction accounting software and other financial tools; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of benefits administration processes and tax regulations related to payroll processing
- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail; capable of identifying discrepancies quickly and implementing solutions effectively
- Strong understanding of governmental accounting standards.
- A minimum of three years costruction payroll experience.
