Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated First Class Pre-K Auxiliary Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional growth, and support the diverse needs of preschool children. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children’s independence and cooperation.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development, including toddler care and Montessori-inspired methods.
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials, setting up learning centers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, providing individualized support and behavior management strategies.
- Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to special education, curriculum development, and early childhood best practices.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques.
- Experience with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Knowledge of curriculum planning across literacy education, math concepts, and preschool activities.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education or toddler care.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with families.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood educational philosophies is a plus.
- Proven experience working in daycare settings or private schools is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans for individual needs while maintaining a structured learning environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
