Pewaukee Cleaning Services is hiring an experienced house cleaner to join our growing team serving homeowners throughout Waukesha County.

About Pewaukee Cleaning Services
Pewaukee Cleaning Services provides residential cleaning for homeowners throughout Waukesha County. We take pride in delivering a friendly, reliable, high-quality cleaning experience with clear communication and no surprises.
We're growing and looking for experienced cleaners who want to be part of a professional team. We provide the supplies, equipment, checklists, and support. You bring your cleaning experience, work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in doing great work.
About the Role
You'll clean client homes throughout Waukesha County, usually working with a teammate and sometimes independently. Most days include 2–3 homes, depending on the schedule, size of the homes, and type of cleaning.
Because our clients count on us, reliability is extremely important in this role. We're looking for someone we can build a consistent schedule around — someone who shows up when scheduled, communicates clearly, and helps us deliver a great experience for every client.
This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys cleaning, knows what quality work looks like, and is comfortable helping newer team members learn the right way to do things when needed.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities include:
- Clean client homes carefully, thoroughly, and professionally
- Dust and detail surfaces throughout the home
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean kitchens, including counters, sinks, fixtures, appliances, and cabinet fronts as needed
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
- Follow company cleaning checklists and systems
- Communicate clearly with the team about job notes, supplies, timing, or client needs
- Work independently or with a teammate depending on the schedule
- Help newer team members learn our cleaning process when appropriate

- Has 1+ year of professional house cleaning, residential cleaning, housekeeping, or similar experience

- Works well independently and with a teammate
- Stays calm, respectful, and solutions-focused during a busy day

- Is comfortable helping newer team members when needed
We are not looking for someone who rushes through jobs, cuts corners, or frequently calls out. Our clients depend on us, and our team depends on each other.
Requirements
- 1+ year of verifiable cleaning experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to client homes throughout Waukesha County
- Smartphone for scheduling and team communication
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Ability to stay active throughout the day, including bending, lifting, walking, reaching, and standing for extended periods
Schedule
- Monday–Friday daytime hours, usually done by 4pm
- No nights
- No weekends
- Full-time or part-time available
- Consistent weekday availability is strongly preferred (even if it's just 2 or 3 days a week!)
