Process countywide payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and contracts.
Administer employee benefits: enrollments, changes, billing, and open enrollment support.
Serve as a primary contact for employees and insurance providers.
Manage workers’ compensation claims, OSHA logs, and related reporting.
Provide light IT assistance and back-up phone coverage.
What We’re Looking For
Two years of post-secondary education in HR, Business, or related field.
At least two years of HR or administrative experience, or equivalent.
Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and employment laws.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
This is a full-time Grade 5, Hourly/Non-Exempt position at 37.5 hours per week. Wage range $32.87 - $44.80 per hour.
