Responsibilities
- Safely carry out prepared food orders from the kitchen to dining areas or carryout counters, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist in organizing and expediting food during busy service times to promote efficient delivery and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to confirm order details, special requests, and timing for optimal service flow.
- Handle guest requests courteously, providing excellent customer service whether in dine-in or carryout settings.
- Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and proper handling of food items during transportation.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold a welcoming environment.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing carryout orders accurately and efficiently.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with restaurant technology including POS systems like Aloha POS
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
