What You'll Do:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP
- Support M&A integration activities, including opening balance sheet preparation, purchase price allocation, and harmonization of accounting policies across entities
- Contribute to IPO readiness efforts, including building out financial reporting infrastructure, supporting S-1 preparation, and assisting with SEC reporting requirements
- Assist in preparing internal management reports and variance analyses for leadership
- Support external and internal audits by preparing workpapers and responding to auditor requests
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and business partners
- Assist with technical accounting research and documentation on complex transactions
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- Experience at a large private or public company
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Preferred:
- CPA license or active CPA candidate
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm)
- SOX compliance experience in a public company environment
- Experience with financial reporting tools and close management software
