Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled baker to join our Commercial Kitchen Bakery team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working in a dynamic food production environment, with a focus on creating high-quality baked goods. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including pastries, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and muffins following established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. (Food Handler's Certificate a PLUS+)
- Store, Label and date baked goods to ensure freshness.
- Monitor oven temps/bake times, and quality control.
- Support high-volume production needs by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, baking, and assembly simultaneously.
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality control standards before packaging or delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow, improve product presentation, and enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, bakery work, or culinary environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with baking equipment/machiner/mixers used in commercial kitchens.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced high-volume production setting.
- Attention to detail
- Able to read and measure recipes accurately.
- Proficient in ENGLISH and SPANISH
- Great time management skills - able to meet production timelines
- Reliable and able to stick to a set weekly schedule.
- Able to stand long time periods
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
