The Senior Financial Analyst partners with accounting and cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support that drives organizational performance. This role analyzes business results, reviews financial reporting, and provides recommendations that improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst also mentors team members and leads initiatives to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities:

Analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, balance sheet and operational metrics, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts that support planning and organizational decision-making

Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Lead the preparation of variance analyses, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership and business partners.
- Prepare annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts while partnering with department leaders to monitor financial performance against established goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain financial reporting tools, dashboards, and insightful spreadsheets that support accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Collaborate with all departments to improve financial results, reporting accuracy, and organizational performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent experience

Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or financial reporting

CPA preferred, current CCIFP (Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional) or certification within two years hire.

Advanced financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft platform and financial reporting systems; experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
