Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently during assigned shifts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components according to technical specifications.
- Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly and process adherence.
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and compliance with standards.
- Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while following safety protocols to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards in production environments.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements.
- Support warehouse activities such as material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow manufacturing management procedures to ensure consistent product quality and safety compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with production operations, warehouse procedures, or related equipment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and measurement tools (measuring & weighing).
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with mechanical assembly is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or process improvement methodologies is desirable.
- Strong commitment to safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
