About the Role
As a Site Grading Supervisor, you will lead heavy civil construction crews to ensure project milestones are met with precision and safety. You will leverage your expertise in earthwork, GPS grading technology, and team leadership to drive site productivity and deliver high-quality results on complex infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities-
Direct daily field operations, including crew scheduling, task delegation, and performance management to ensure project timelines and budgets are achieved.

Oversee site preparation activities such as bulk dirt grading, excavation, and fine grading to meet exact project specifications.

Utilize GPS equipment, rotating lasers, and cut sheets to perform accurate grade checking and site layout.

Manage haul routes and road maintenance to optimize equipment efficiency and site safety.

Monitor and document production quantities, labor hours, and material usage to support project reporting.

Champion a culture of safety by conducting field orientations, enforcing DOT regulations, and coaching team members on best practices.

Collaborate with project superintendents to interpret technical drawings and resolve field challenges.

5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on earthwork and site development.

Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency in operating and training others on heavy machinery.

Strong understanding of GPS grading systems and laser leveling tools.

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen.

Physical capability to perform field tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in diverse weather conditions.

3+ years of experience in a construction supervisory or foreman role.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office for reporting and administrative tasks.

Strong communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors and inspectors.
