We are looking for a certified Phlebotomist/Laboratory technician with at least 1 year experience. The prospective employee will start work immediately. The job description for the position includes:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate accurately with co-workers and a wide range of clients. Being courteous and helpful are required attributes.
-Perform all collection processes for drug, alcohol, DNA tests, physical exams and clinical testing (urine, saliva, hair, phlebotomy, vital signs) including DOT and non-DOT urine testing. Some collections and testing might be on-site at various workplaces.
- Administer accurate, reliable, confidential, and timely notifications.
- Ability to work well independently without direct supervision but able to report to a senior authority when necessary.
-Proficient computer skill and ability to learn new software are highly required.
- Office administration, record keeping and upkeep, adhering to all relevant state/federal regulations, as well as company policies, and procedures.
-Maintain customer protocols and electronic customer management.
- Maintain inventory including ordering, receiving, and storing work materials.
- Perform basic cleaning to comply with lab protocol/daily office cleaning duties
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, daily drop-off of Fed-Ex, UPS etc
- Communicate accurately with clients, designated Employee Representative, and Medical Review Officers.
- Continuous professional development and training within all relevant job functions.
-Other duties may be assigned as the laboratory expands.
Potential employee will remain on a long-term basis with the laboratory and can attend training courses offered by the Franchise.
