Position Title: Marketing Specialist FLSA Status: Salary, Non-Exempt
Department: Student Support Services Job Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of SSS Work Schedule: Day and Evening Hours
Rate of Pay: $65,000
Purpose of Position:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating marketing and graphic design campaigns to promote the college. They will oversee the college’s social media channels and ensure brand uniformity with marketing materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, broadcast media, and social media;
- Create engaging and relevant content for marketing materials, including blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and website content;

Develop strategies to increase brand awareness; ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice

Compose press releases;

Review and maintain accurate information on the college website;

Promote graduation ceremonies, cultural events, fundraisers, and community outreach programs, Coordinate photography and media coverage, Support alumni and donor relations events;

Analytics & Reporting - Monitor website traffic and social media engagement, track marketing campaign performance. Generate reports showing enrollment and recruitment results;

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to balance working independently and as a team member within Student Support Services and other departments at the college;

Ability to follow assignments and projects from inception to completion and handle several projects at the same time;

Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required in art, commercial art, DMP/graphic design, marketing, or related field.

Superior written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored for different audiences.

Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.

Excellent graphic design skills.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Suite, Acrobat
Travel: No travel is required
