We are looking for a Painter/Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting, preparing surfaces for painting, and performing other related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and/or general maintenance, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting.
- Mix and apply paint, enamel, and other finishes to surfaces.
- Perform maintenance (drywall, ceiling tile, carpet tile, etc.)
- Clean up after projects.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material.
- Sand and scrape surfaces as needed.
- Follow safety procedures when using ladders, tools, and lifting material
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
- At least 3 years in painting/maintenance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Be able to work in temperatures ranging 0 to 120 degrees
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl up to 8 hours
Work Hours: Monday-6:00am to 4:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday-6:00am to 2:30pm, Friday-6:00am to 12:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
