PRN & Part-Time X-Ray Technologist
Touchstone Medical Imaging, a Lumexa Imaging partner, is seeking qualified ARRT (R) registered X-Ray Technologists to join our outpatient imaging team in Colorado. We're hiring for a part-time and PRN positions, working flexible hours Monday-Friday. Schedule flexibility, hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7am-7pm
Compensation is determined based on several factors, including experience, certifications, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs. Benefits and bonus eligibility vary based on position and employment status. Sign-on bonus eligibility and terms apply.
Position Summary
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
- Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible, if applicable)
- State licensure as required
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
