Responsibilities:
-
Represent clients in all phases of Civil Defense Litigation (Businesses, Personal Injury, Personal Injury, Public Entities and Individuals)
-
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Handle depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
-
Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and make court appearances.
-
Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy.
-
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on legal matters.
-
Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
-
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
-
2+ years of experience in civil litigation, Insurance Defense, Personal Injury or Public Entity Defense
-
Active CA Bar License
-
Strong knowledge of civil defense litigation and insurance defense procedures and practices.

Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong advocacy skills in the courtroom.

Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
