Description
Your Role:
The TR Planning Manager is responsible for providing sales and inventory plans across all merchandise categories for the TR business across multiple formats and geographies. The Manager will work closely with Planners in Region to develop an aligned Sales and open-to-Buy forecast to achieve Sales Plan and manage Partner Inventory to appropriate levels. The Manager has 4 direct reports, one per Region (Global, EMEA, Americas, Asia). The Manager will work with International MP&A team by providing TR Buy Quantities by category to ensure inventory can be allocated to all regions based on preferences (size curves, etc.) and trends.
Your Impact:
Sales and Inventory Planning
Owner of Strategic View of Line (SVL) & TR Merchant Planning Committee (MPC) meetings influencing future strategic buy decisions and aligning in-season plans, mitigating risk
Creates process to align Open to Buy (OTB) forecasts with Partners
Apply market trends and regional preferences to category sales and open-to-buy to support buys and allocations; communicates buys to category planners in International MP&A
Focuses time on inventory management to achieve targeted WOS, minimizing left behinds and chasing inventory, when necessary
Develop a close working relationship with Planners in their assigned Region
Work closely with in-market team to understand regional nuances, seasonality, Holiday’s, etc.
Owns Always in Stock Program (AISP) for key inventory skus to achieve targeted in stocks
Retail and Shipped Sales Forecast
Manages team to conduct bi-monthly shipment call meeting on assigned agenda topics
Aggregates Forecasts of retail and shipped sales across Partners/Brand for current and prospective seasons; completes Tops Down Forecast, comparing to Regional Bottoms Up
Puts strategies in place to achieve 90% sell-in of fashion floor-set quantities
Aligns on merchandising strategy and in-market activity while building forecasts
Provides inputs to Ops for Set Up File creation and helps to resolve order issues
Manages sku demand forecast for next 12-24 months; provides to MP&A Category planners
Coach Team & Reporting and Analysis
Responsible to coach team to achieve objectives promoting associate development
Develop standardized reporting across cross functional teams: Regional selling reports, product recaps, inventory ownership and regional level selling variances
Call out inventory risk & opportunity, analyzing retail & shipment sales trends, sharing actions

Minimum Salary: $112,700.00
Maximum Salary: $153,720.00

Qualifications
Your Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or operations
7+ years of experience in Planning or Allocation including 3+ in a management position
Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to analyze and understand quantitative data
Ability to draw conclusions from extensive data and present it in an understandable format
Excellent retail math skills; Excellent technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
Experience managing associates
Strong collaboration skills; Fosters positive cross-functional relationships
Demonstrated ability to achieve business results while managing multiple priorities
Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to teamwork among other associates
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing change, when needed
