Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast offerings in accordance with health and safety standards, ensuring a fresh and inviting presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and breakfast spaces through thorough cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to ensure safe handling of all cleaning products.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, moving furniture or supplies, and managing heavy cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine environment.
- Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols, including inventory management of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Respond effectively to hotel emergency procedures, ensuring guest safety and security at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and janitorial experience to deliver high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during cleaning routines.
- Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Experience with hospitality management practices related to housekeeping operations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.50 per hour
