Edgewood Made works with world renowned interior designers, architects and custom home builders to create dynamic one of a kind contemporary wood and metal, millwork and furniture. We are seeking a creative and hands-on Marketing & Content Creator to help tell the story of our work through photography and video, to be shared directly with our customers as well through our social media.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visual storytelling, content creation, and working in a creative shop environment. The Marketing & Content Creator will document finished projects, fabrication and build process on the shop floor, edit photos and video, write and design news letters, directly share content with clients, and manage social media accounts.
Responsibilities
- Photograph finished furniture, and cabinetry traveling to the install sites
- Capture behind-the-scenes content and process footage on the shop floor
- Edit photos and short-form videos for social media and marketing use
- Create engaging Instagram content including posts, reels, and stories
- Share project update images / status updates directly with our clients
- Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity
- Assist with content planning and posting schedules
- Write captions and basic marketing copy for social media
- Write a monthly news letter to be shared directly with our clients
- Organize and maintain photo/video files and project archives
- Collaborate with the team to highlight current projects and shop activity
Qualifications
- Experience with photography and photo/video editing
- Familiarity with Instagram content creation
- Comfortable working in an active shop environment
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools preferred
- Interest in woodworking, fabrication, and interior design
