Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 1st Shift Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery and equipment to support the assembly and production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills within a dynamic manufacturing facility, contributing directly to the company's operational success. These are temporary to permanent openings and after a probabtionary period of about 3 months, successful candidates will be taken directly onto staff with a raise and comprehensive benefits package.
Shift times: M-Th 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Overtime available on Fridays
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery on the production line during the first shift, ensuring smooth and continuous workflow.
- Perform routine inspections of products and machinery to identify defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while adhering to quality standards.
- Follow safety guidelines consistently, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Skills
- Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to assembly line processes and machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
