American Traveler is seeking a Rad Tech for a 13-week hospital assignment in Diagnostic Radiology, requiring 2+ years of experience and current BLS certification.

Shift schedule Monday-Thursday 12:30 PM-11:00 PM

Performs radiologic imaging to aid physicians in diagnosing medical conditions
-
Prepares and positions patients for imaging procedures
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech

Current BLS certification through AHA
-
License required if applicable
-
Current license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start

Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and guidelines
-
Experience preparing and administering contrast media and medications within scope of practice

Responsible for taking quality radiologic films and submitting high-quality images to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data
-
Monitors patients during procedures and reports any abnormal activity
-
Monitors imaging protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted
-
Reports equipment malfunctions and locks/tags out equipment as appropriate

Black scrubs required
