Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and cosmetology, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for clients.
Duties
- Perform haircuts, beard trims, and shaves using various tools including straight razors.
- Sanitate all equipment and workstations to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Utilize hair threading techniques as needed for specific styles or client requests.
- Provide makeup application services when requested by clients.
- Mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge and skills to enhance their barbering techniques.
- Manage store operations effectively, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and available for use.
Skills
- Proficient in barbering techniques with experience in straight razor shaving.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles is a plus.
- Ability to sanitize tools and maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Experience in hair threading is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent mentoring skills to guide less experienced barbers in their development.
