Advantage Moulding is a fast-growing specialty construction supplier providing high-quality finish materials to professional contractors with 5 locations across Southern California. We are expanding our footprint into the San Fernando Valley and seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Store Lead to anchor our brand-new Sun Valley location.
This is a "ground-floor" opportunity for a candidate with "Pro-Desk" experience looking to step into a leadership role and grow with a scaling company.
The Role
The Store Lead is a working-manager position. You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of a trade order—from generating the initial estimate and building the customer relationship to pulling the inventory and ensuring the delivery truck is loaded correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Manage opening/closing of storefront and warehouse; maintain a clean, organized, and secure facility.
- Sales & Estimating: Process walk-in orders, manage phone inquiries, and generate accurate estimates for doors, windows, and finish trim.
- Inventory & Logistics: Receive inbound shipments (verify POs), stock inventory, and pull/stage orders for customer pick-up.
- Deliveries: Organize local San Fernando Valley delivery routes and assist with loading trucks each morning.
- Account Management: Proactively follow up on quotes and maintain relationships with local General Contractors and Finish Carpenters.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience at a construction-related order desk (Lumber yard, Door/Window dealer, or Flooring wholesaler) Required.
- Trade Knowledge: Ability to discuss "finish" materials (mouldings, casing, door handing) with seasoned pros.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain active on your feet throughout the day.
- Reliability: Must be a dependable key-holder with a track record of punctuality.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus.
- License: Valid Driver's License and local geography knowledge for delivery routing.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
